Jacquelyn J. Jimenez holds the position of Vice President, Head of Strategy and Partner Management of Union Bank of the Philippines. She started her career with the Bank as a Management Trainee under the Bank’s Leader-Executive Accelerated Development (LEAD) Program in July 2011. Under the program, she was rotated in product, operations and risk before holding position as a Corporate Planning Officer where her first project was the acquisition of City Savings Bank. In 2016, she moved to Technical Services & Solutions Group under Enterprise Business Process Optimisation where she was involved in various projects in pursuit of the Bank’s Digital Transformation. She defined framework to standardize end-to-end processing mapping, undertaken cost transformation project for entire operations dubbed as ACT - automation, consolidation of roles and transformation of job content, and automated capital expenditure budget to procurement process. Given the magnitude of capital investments in digital, the Strategy and Partner Management was formed to ensure that budget and spending are aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives & priorities and hygiene principles. To this end, she created frameworks for capitalization in support of agile development as well as mentors product owners on creating business cases and measuring benefits realized. Corollary to this, management of the vendor portfolio and formation of long-term strategic partnerships with information technology services and solutions are part of her mandates. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in AB Management Economics, Minor in Financial Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2011.
