With multi-billion-peso investments increasing each year, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is leading comprehensive, long-term development plans to enhance aviation safety, operational efficiency, and environmental sustainability. These initiatives are part of a roadmap that extends through 2030 and beyond.
Privately operated airports are also stepping up, integrating the latest technologies and embracing digitalization to align with smart airport standards seen across the globe. At the same time, the DOTr is strengthening its focus on regional airports—ensuring improved connectivity across the country’s many islands and remote areas.
