After receiving a master’s degree in civil engineering from Kyoto University Graduate School in 1996, Mr. Tsuchiya developed his career in Shimizu Corporation and has been with the firm for over 20 years. Throughout his career, he has been engaged in various energy and transportation infrastructure design and engineering work. In 2012 and 2015, he participated in the design of the Ho Chi Minh City Metro in Vietnam, and since 2018, he has been involved in the Metro Manila Subway Project. Until now, he is still at the forefront, leading as Design Manager of the Metro Manila Subway Project CP101.
