Celeste D. Lauta is a lawyer by profession. Before becoming the head of the Corporate Planning, She was the Officer-in-Charge of the Legal Division for 2 years. She is also the Corporate Secretary of the PNR. As part of her role as chief planning officer which she assumed in August 2017, she determines plans, projects and programs of the PNR, the oldest railways in the Philippines and which she was able to successfully improve the scorecard of the company in planning, procurement and budget utilization.
Before she joined the PNR in 2014, she was a private practicing lawyer handling property and family cases but joining PNR has given her much opportunities to improve multi-tasking skills in various disciplines like resource planning, project management and organizational management with the mentoring of General Manager Junn Magno of PNR.
