Ms. Gladys Nalda is a lawyer by profession and a corporate executive with more than a decade of experience in renewable energy, power utilities, real estate and infrastructure development.
She is former Vice President for Legal & Corporate Affairs of PNOC Renewables Corporation, the renewable energy arm of the state-owned PNOC Group. Concurrent with this role, she worked with DOE attached agencies and various TWGs in developing policy regulations pertaining the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.
She served in the board and top management of power companies such as National Transmission Corporation, MRC Allied Inc., Menlo Renewables Corporation and currently Global Power Solutions Asia where she sits as Executive Director. She advocates clean and renewable energy. She is a member of the Energy Lawyers Association of the Philippines.
She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Business Administration and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas. She also completed a Certificate on International and Comparative Laws from the University of Strasbourg in France.
