He graduated as a Mining Engineer from the Camborne School of Mines, U.K. and was awarded a Masters Degree in Arbitration & Dispute Resolution from City University, Hong Kong. Over the last 23 years he has worked in the tunnelling industry predominantly in Hong Kong, with extensive knowledge and practical experience in a range of tunnelling methods including small hand excavated drives, hard and soft ground TBM’s and large caverns through various geological conditions. In addition he possesses extensive explosive engineering experience in both tunnelling and open cast methods, predominately in an urban environment, which has led him to become a respected Tunnelling & Blasting Engineer within the industry.
Last year he transferred to The Philippines acting as the Client Representative on a 7.4km Water aqueduct tunnel connecting La Mesa Reservoir and Balara Treatment Plant. This project is currently under construction and the aqueduct tunnel will be excavated with a 3.8m diameter EPB TBM.”
