Gloria is Director of Development Planning and Feasibility at Marriott International Asia Pacific. With market oversight of Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Macau, Gloria has evaluated and underwrote more than 300 prospective deals and development opportunities in her current role to date.

Gloria joined Marriott from Horwath HTL, where she provided development and management advisory services to ownership groups in various markets in China and Southeast Asia. Prior to that, Gloria was Visiting Lecturer and Research Associate at The HK Polytechnic University. Earlier in her career, she spent two years with the United Nations World Tourism Organization at its Madrid Headquarters working on tourism development projects for the UN member states in Asia.

Gloria has a Master of Philosophy in tourism specializing in tourism politics and international relations and a Bachelor’s degree in hotel management from The HK Polytechnic University.
