Douglas Louden, throughout his career has demonstrated expertise in developing operations systems and effecting service refinements with a focus on people and the culture of the operating environment.

He began his career in the hospitality industry in London with Gleneagles Hotels, followed by employment with Regent International in Australia and Shangri La in China. He was General Manager of the Pan Pacific Bangkok where he was recognized for his community work by UNICEF and played an active role in the Thai Hotels Association.

He later became Corporate Director of Operations for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, overseeing operations from the West Coast of USA to Japan, West and South East Asia. He then joined Hotel Properties Ltd as Vice President, Operations, included in his role was the development of the Hard Rock Hotels brand. In 2006 he joined Hong Kong Resorts as General Manager - Hospitality, where his primary role was to oversee infrastructure operations of Hong Kong’s largest private residential development.

In these various roles he has interacted with most of the major hotel operating brands, at a variety of levels. Douglas has significant experience in the operation of city hotels and resorts, as well as club operations including golf courses and marinas.

In his role as a hospitality consultant his primary focus is on providing services to owners to ensure that they are optimizing the value of their assets, this includes:
