Cyrill Czerwonka joined Best Western Hotels & Resorts as Regional Director of Development Asia in May 2018. Best Western Hotels & Resorts is one of the world’s largest hotel chains with over 4,200 hotels in more than 100 countries. The group has the ambition to double its portfolio in the countries under the Bangkok office, by further expanding its 13 brands from economy to upscale, on the basis of management contracts and franchise.

Cyrill has enjoyed an impressive 13-year international career in the hotel investment and development sector with both operators and owners across Asia, Europe, The Middle East and Africa. This has included leading new hotel opportunities, negotiating deals and conducting financial studies for a number of international hospitality companies.

Having obtained his Master’s Degree in Business & Finance from a Graduate Business School of Management in France, Cyrill entered the hospitality industry with AccorHotels. Based in Bangkok, this role also re-introduced Cyrill to the Asia Pacific region as he focused on Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and conducted a three-month mission to India.

Following this, Cyrill spent almost five years in Paris with Singapore-based serviced apartment specialist, The Ascott Limited, as Business Development Manager for Europe. Then in 2013, he joined Dusit International as Assistant Director of Development for EMEA, based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
