Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Denmark to the Republic of the Philippines
Jan Top Christensen started on August 1, 2014 the re-opening of the Danish embassy in Manila. In 2007 he opened the Danish embassy in Lebanon. He has had senior positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs within various fields such as Middle East and North Africa, Asia, Humanitarian Crisis and Security Council matters. He holds degrees in international relations and economics plus French language. He has previously worked for UNHCR in the Philippines and started his professional career in academia as assistant professor and research fellow.
